Nigeria Votes is a project by Accountable to Us. We help Nigerians take part in elections — from registering, to collecting their PVC, to voting — and we record where the process fails them. We document the problems clearly, count them honestly, and raise them with the people and institutions able to act. The numbers speak for themselves.
We are non-partisan. We do not support any political party or candidate. We only track the problems people face when trying to take part — no matter who they would vote for.
About Accountable to Us
Nigeria Votes is a project by Accountable to Us (a2us) — a non-partisan, citizen-led initiative working to make Nigeria more open and accountable. We believe transparency leads to accountability: when ordinary people can document and share what's really happening — clearly, and at scale — problems become much harder to ignore. Our approach is simple: gather real information from real people, verify it, and use it to push for change. Nigeria Votes applies that same idea to helping people vote — through registration, PVC collection, and election day itself.
No political side
We do not support any party or candidate. If you cannot take part, that is what we care about — no matter who you would vote for.
Honest numbers
People mostly report when something goes wrong, so we never claim how many succeeded. We only count the problems — what, where, and when.
Your privacy comes first
We collect as little as possible and show only totals. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act. Your name is never shown.
